King Township has a draft Climate Action Plan and they are looking for public feedback. it's really important for the township to hear from you now. Climate change is impacting all of us, and your voice needs to be included in the plan.

Resilient Caledon Community Climate Change Action Plan
Our neighbouring municipality, Caledon, recently completed their own climate action plan. We suggest that you take a look at their plan to see a plan created for a municipality that is quite similar to King Township.

King Township Tree Management Plan
At the Council meeting of June 13th 2022, Township staff presented a report on the tree management plan for King Township. This report addressed the state of trees and policies and plans for managing the trees on public lands. Climate Action King made a deputation on the value and importance of trees and identified the need to protect trees on private property at the same Council meeting.
